Operating Policy

The Bay Breeze Motel and Cottages bears no responsibility in the event of loss of power, electric company outages, water outages, variations in the weather conditions. No refunds or cancellations will be offered for such natural circumstances.

We reserve the right to amend or cancel any scheduled dates in an unexpected health occurrence and any payment received in advance will be returned.

We do not accept any responsibility for injury, accident or losses suffered while at Bay Breeze Motel and Cottages.

Excessive noise and misbehavior will not be tolerated, failure to comply will result in eviction with no refund.

Once inside a motel room or cottage report any noticeable damage or missing items from the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms to the Front Desk, by e-mail or by phone.

The kitchen in the suite units and cottages should be left clean and in the same condition as you received it, with no broken or missing items, to prevent additional charges.

Bay Breeze Motel and Cottages has the policy of no -smoking inside any motel units or inside the cottages. Smoking is only permitted outdoors and preferably along the sea shore.

The deposit for a booked Motel room is $50.00 and for a booked Cottage is $200.00 by Visa or Master Card.

The cancellation policy for a Motel room booked for 1 night is two days notice before arrival, and for a 2 to 6 nights booking the notice of cancelation must be within 7 days before arrival.

The cancellation notice for booking a Cottage is 30 days before arrival date. Refunds are made if the cancellation notice is received within this time frame (minus $28.00 cancellation fee)

Use of the pool is reserved for registered guests only. For your safety please observe posted regulations and supervise children at all times. Children 14 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

The persons with pets are asked to notify us at the time of booking as there are limited pet units. A dog stay fee of $28.00 will be charged. A pet must not be left alone inside a cottage or motel room at any time.

On outside deck or grounds the pet should be on a leash at all times. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to clean after their pets, and to keep the pets from damaging the furniture, and to stay off the beds.

Because we are at the sea water mark there is high humidity in the air during fog, rain or hightides with waves splashing against the rocks; to reduce the buildup of indoor moisture all the windows and doors must be closed during these periods.

Failure to comply with the above policies will result in additional fees charged to the credit card.

At your arrival the Registration Desk will attend questions you have on the Operating Policy of Bay Breeze Motel and Cottages and ask you to sign the acknowledgement of it.
